Whoa, nellie…
A lot has happened in the past month that could be categorized as one of my “favorite things.” Of course, since this was supposed to be a weekly series (bad Robbin!), it only makes sense that this installment is a bit longer than usual.
Now, let’s get right into things…
Mount Snow
In early October, my friends and I made our way to Dover, VT for Mount Snow’s 18th Annual Oktoberfest. The weather couldn’t have been more perfect, making it pretty easy to enjoy the pretzels, live music, keg toss, schnitzel toss (which my brother & fiance won! woohoo!) and of course, the beers.
Salem, MA
With it being the Halloween season, it was only natural that I make a trip to Salem. My favorite part? This super witchy shop right in the middle of town.
Sister, sister
Yippie! My sister came to visit me in Boston during the Head of the Charles Regatta. We had the best time strolling through one of my favorite neighborhoods, the North End.
Back Bay
A few weeks ago, I spotted a photo that was posted by one of my favorite New England Instagrammers, @BrianMCW. I loved it so much, I went out to try and find the street corner myself to try and re-create the shot.
Downeast Cider House
I had never tried cider until about two weeks ago. It was from Downeast Cider and ever since, I’ve been hooked (unlike other ciders, this Downeast Cider is unfiltered and made with ale yeast). Even better, it’s made in my own backyard (Charlestown, MA).
I love Downeast Cider, but haven’t visited them yet! It’s on my to-do list for sure! Glad to hear it was worth the trip 🙂
Boston Chic Party
Hey Jenna – I love Downeast Cider too 🙂 It’s a fun place to visit, along with a walk around the Charlestown neighborhood!
