The New England Life is a guide that covers anything & everything lifestyle-related to the New England region (& my life in general). Founded in 2015, The New England Life was created for the purpose of sharing my favorite go-to destinations in the region, Boston tidbits, hidden gems I’ve found along the way, my favorite New England brands, plus much more.
ABOUT ROBBIN
Robbin started The New England Life back in 2015, after moving back to the east coast after living in California for some time. Over the years, she had launched several city-focused blogs based on where she was living at the time (e.g. Charleston, NYC, San Diego)… and just as she had felt like she was still searching for her “home base,” each time she moved, she felt inspired to re-brand her blog and what she was sharing.
Before blogging even entered my life… Robbin was born and raised in Connecticut and eventually made her way south to attend the College of Charleston in South Carolina. Once she graduated, she took the typical New Englander path and moved to New York City, learning all about the public relations and social media industry. After several years & lots of restless days, her boyfriend (Jeff, now her husband) packed their bags and moved to California, where she continued her PR career.
At this point, blog #3 was in the works. By day, Robbin was a publicist, and by night, she was writing blog posts, editing photos, planning road trips, saving inspo on Pinterest, and learning every single thing she could find about social media and the blogging world.
After getting engaged, Jeff and Robbin realized it was time to make their way back home to the east coast and put down roots. After months of research, they landed in Boston and since moving, completely immersed themselves in the New England region.
When not exploring New England and writing about it, Robbin is utterly obsessed with reading & collecting books, searching for the perfect cup of coffee, chowing down on lobster rolls, binge-watching John Oliver, buying succulents & always accidentally killing them, and cuddling with her goldendoodle, Rory.
