For years, as I bopped around from Connecticut to Charleston, SC to New York City to San Diego and now to Boston, I’d been craving a sense of community. A place that I could finally call home & become insanely passionate and involved. A city where I knew I’d never want to leave, not just because of the architecture, the climate, or because of a job… but because of the people who also called it home.
This fall, in addition to sharing with you my favorite things to see and do in our beloved New England, I’m teaming up with the Poland Spring® brand to focus on the people that bring greatness to our historic and very passionate Boston.
Many of you might not know this (or you might!), but the Poland Spring® brand is a New England based brand, and if you follow The New England Life, you know I love supporting regional companies that are doing good.
Therefore, I’m excited to introduce you to the Greatness Springs From Here ™ campaign, which celebrates the uniqueness of the Poland Spring region and people, where you’ll see me highlighting my amazing Boston neighbors who are pursuing a passion and making a positive impact in our community.
To start, meet Edna. A total badass!
The Poland Spring® brand found local greatness in Edna Mitchell, an 88-year-old volunteer ambulance driver who is still saving lives every day. She was a certified EMT for 38 years and nothing – literally nothing – is going to stop her.
I mean, come on. How inspiring is that?
Join me this fall on my Instagram – @RobbinMangano – as I spotlight greatness through the city.
And in the meantime, share with me who you think springs greatness!
