When it comes to blogging, I definitely don’t practice what I preach. I’m often asked “How do I get more followers on Instagram?” or “How do I start a blog?” etc etc.. My main piece of advice is always BE CONSISTENT, because it is truly the hardest part about blogging and building a readership.
And when I sat down and thought about why I couldn’t stay consistent, I realized it was because I often feel like I don’t have *picture perfect* images to share in my blog posts.
So, instead of now trying to take beautiful photos every where I go to document, I’ll just continue to snap away on my iPhone and share a few tidbits from my life each week. Fingers crossed I can stay consistent with this series? Lol, we’ll see…
Jeff had his annual Halloween party at work and so Isla and I stopped by for the festivities. It’s super cute and all the employees’ kids come to office dressed up in their costumes and go trick or treating at everyone’s desks. This is the view from their office and I always love to see it during the fall, when all the trees have changed colors. If you missed my IG stories, Isla dressed up as COOKIE MONSTER (she loves Sesame Street). She’ll be dressing up again for our town’s local Halloween stroll in a few days.
We’ve been *super* busy this fall at RPR. Recently, we started working with Primark and did a product and prop pull at their Boston DTX location for our upcoming photoshoot. Stay tuned as we’ll share a few behind-the-scenes of how our team takes and edits photos and video for clients.
Besides along the Scituate Harbor, this is by far my favorite place to take a walk in the South Shore. I’m not quite sure how long this wooden walkway is, but from the parking lot to the end of the path and back, it’s a nice 30+ minute walk. And this time, I pulled Isla out of her stroller so that she could walk for a bit and play with the leaves. If you’re looking for this boardwalk, I enter in at the Norwell Middle School and park in their parking lot. From there, you’ll see the start of the path. I always go on the weekends, but would guess you’d have to park somewhere else along the path if you’re trying to go during the school week.
The cutest turkey baby 🙂 I’m partnering with Christmas Tree Shops for Thanksgiving and Christmas this year and brought my little helper with me to pick up a few items. I got her this cute little turkey headband to wear during November and on Thanksgiving Day. Of course, got myself and Jeff a hat as well… you’ll have to tune into my Thanksgiving Prep blog post to see what they look like – LOL 🙂
