Can you believe that Thanksgiving is just ONE week away?
It feels so strange…when I was living in San Diego, it felt like the year would just drag on… because the weather was always 70 and sunny (I know, what a shame 🙂 ), it never felt like time was moving. Now, it seems crazy to think that the end of November is in sight and that just a few weeks after that is Christmas, then New Year’s and then wow… 2016!
Well, for now, I’m going to try to stay in the moment and enjoy the last few days of fall. Here’s what I’ve been up to:
Saturdays Spent Plant Shopping
You know you’ve become an adult when you get excited about shopping for apartment plants.
All The Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr
I just recently started reading this book. While I’m only on the first chapter, I’m excited to spend the weekend with my nose in a book.
Trips to New York City
Last weekend, I made a quick trip into NYC to see my brother, sister, and best friends. Not gonna lie… one of the best nights I’ve had in awhile. The next morning, I walked back to Grand Central Terminal… and even though I’ve seen it more times than I can even count, it never ceases to amaze me how beautiful a beautiful a building it is.
Home Sweet Home
While I went into NYC for Saturday night, the majority of my weekend was spent at my family’s home in Fairfield, CT. I was so bummed to leave these two furballs on Sunday evening.
