Thank you Christmas Tree Shops andThat! for sponsoring this post.
All opinions are my own.
We’ve started to finally make our house a home, decorating little corners here & there. And now that Isla is getting a bit older, she’s started to crawl and climb on EVERYTHING. We figured it was finally time for Isla to get a toy upgrade, especially in our living room, where she spends most of her time playing.
Similar to our before + after patio makeover, we really wanted to stick to a budget and not go overboard… because, when buying for baby, at least for me, I always want to get her everything, ha!
When we learned that Christmas Tree Shops andThat! was launching a kid’s line, I figured we’d start there first to see if there were any affordable items for Isla. Of course, once we got to the store, it was clear I wasn’t going home empty-handed.
From shark-themed and mermaid-themed pillows and wall decor, to the cutest rain boots and ponchos (Isla’s not quite old enough yet!), to baby animal plates and cups, to teepees (HAD to get one!), to toddler arm chairs (these always crack me up), to bedding, to velvet hangers, to tons of cute storage baskets… it was perfect for a playroom upgrade.
Since I love all things nautical (and hope that Isla does too!), I was loving all of the under-the-sea themed.
Once home, the teepee only took about ten minutes to set up, the chair was already put together, and I was able to quickly throw all of Isla’s toys and blankets into her new teal colored storage bins!
Within minutes, she was crawling all over the place, going in and out of her teepee, playing with her toys, and peeking out every once in awhile to see if mom & dad were still there. And, now that she’s climbing on everything, she learned how to plop down on her little chair pretty quickly, a perfect spot for her to read her favorite books!
Now, the teepee isn’t staying outside, but I brought it out on our patio, just to show that it’s perfect for indoor and outdoor playtime. We threw in a few blankets and know this will be a fan-favorite toy between Isla and her friends when they come over to play.
Per usual, everything was extremely affordable, and I’ve listed a few of the prices below:
